The Wahine Disaster

The Wahine research :
We are doing a research project about the Wahine that sank 46 years ago on the 10th of April 1968.
This is my newspaper artical about the Wahine.

On the 23rd of October we had our Calf and Lamb Day.  Students participated in showing their Calves and Lambs as well as entering items for indoor exhibits.  Thank you to Brydee who took the time to take the photos and Miss Ogle who let us share the movie from her class blog.

Movie Making

Here's a sneak peak at some of our MOA Award entries...

HI !!  My Name  is Senilka. I am come from SriLanka. My school is Opunake Primary. I live in Pihama. I love animals. I have two sisters Maymdi and Dinaya and my mum and dad. I like play netball.

We are right into our Movie Making mode for the MOA awards, we have learnt our lines and are now learning to act out our parts, using expression, gestures and the like to improve our performances.  We are also videoing our rehearsals so we can work on the camera shots and angles that we want to use.
